Named Openly

Self-harm support.

Many teens carry this privately because they're afraid of how adults will react. Catie names self-harm openly because pretending it isn't happening doesn't help anyone. With supervision and clear safety planning, she works alongside teens — and their parents, where appropriate — to understand what self-harm is doing for them, build healthier ways to meet those underlying needs, and reduce risk over time.

What therapy actually looks like.

Sessions are one hour. Early sessions are about building trust and figuring out what actually matters to you — not running through a checklist of symptoms. From there, Catie pulls from ACT, CBT, and positive psychology to build specific skills you can actually use between sessions.

Walk-and-talk option

For teens who think better in motion — especially with ADHD — walk-and-talk sessions are a great alternative to office-based therapy.
